NFL's Third Week: 2020 Kickoff

NFL Plays in a Dome, Not a Bubble

Looks like the NFL is on and is on its going on the 3rd week. They are not playing in a bubble and over 60 players opted out this year. For the love of the game or for love of your health? I watched highlights and how nice it was to be distracted by a bunch of athletic dudes playing to win. Big-name generation x'ers Tom Brady and Philip Rivers were sporting their new teams.

Monday Night Football in September

What I'm really looking forward to is an ordinary Monday Night football in Septemeber. The NFL is providing much needed entertainment and a sense of normalcy in COVID-times.

Allegiant Stadiam, Las Vegas Debut

Tonight the Saints play the Raiders. This will be in the new Las Vegas dome. The Allegiant Stadiam is the 1.8 billion dollar stadium and as much as I love 'Derek Carr,' injured or not-- I 'm looking forward to getting photgraphs of an empty-billion dollar arena. It won't be empty for too long. Tonight is the debut game and again it will be crowdless. The dome is 10-level, is black and lights up like a christmas tree at night. It has a re-tractable roof and windows to protect against extremely high temperatures and keeps it nice and cool inside, with fresh cut grass. Not like we'll see it anytime soon, inside there is a torch to honor their beloved long time owner of the Raiders:' Al Davis.' This game will be best served with an ice cold lime flavored seltzer water. Ejoy !

US Open 2016: Review

Stan The Man The over the top US Open blew me over. As in blew me over I mean the sold out ]dome in Brooklyn New York (Chase Center). The match between Wawrinka and Djokovic was great. The first two sets won by Wawrinka, whom I'm a big fan of now. The guy's outfit was perfect, it was hot pink or a magenta shade. The hot color won him the game. And the stakes were high, loser gets $1.8 million, while winner prize is $3 million. That is the highest prize money in the history of any tennis tournament. So go you  Switzerland native "Stan Wawrinka," also refereed to by some as "Stan the man."

Thursday Night Football: Browns vs. Jets

Mayfield Browns Stud-Muffin Quarterback Baker Mayfield is fun to watch he's a 23 year your old young buck from Austin, Texas. The Cleveland Browns choose him in the 2018 NFL draft and he's the first round pick. He's in a four year rookie contract with the Browns and they signed him at $32 million. Not to shabby for a young stallion-- not to mention he's entertaining to watch. Because he can throw and complete passes. Last night he executed winning the game after one of the longest losing records in the history for the NFL.  All of that's over now they have momentum and a very talented QB. Go Browns! And hurray for new QB's in the league.  Sam Darnold So-Cal Native and Jets QB Sam Darnold was the second round pick for the Jets-- also 23 years old. He was picked in the draft right behind Mayfield. So needless to say last nights game was epic, two first round picks going up against each other. I'm glad I got to watch the two new star QB's...

Raiders Beginning 2016 Preview

What a Fun Game to Start This Season Off With If you're like me and watched some Sunday football then consider yourself lucky, there was some good stuff. Not all games are as entertaining as the starting of 2016 NFL season. One that made me into a little a fan was the 'Raiders and Saints' game. It was a close game, neck to neck. And I watched Derek Carr last year and thought who is this Raiders guy? Amori Cooper and Derek Carr Rub Ballz The Raiders beat the Saints in New Orleans, there were even the crazy Raider fans in the background wearing 'Halloween costumes.' Besides the point. Carr can knock that one off his belt and they can start their season off with a win. Another mention should be wide receiver: 'Amari Cooper' who's going to be Carr's go to bro. They were so much fun to watch. The Raiders were making plays and I'm going to keep my eyes open for when they play the "Falcons" on Sunday, at the Oakland Colise...
