NFL's Third Week: 2020 Kickoff

NFL Plays in a Dome, Not a Bubble

Looks like the NFL is on and is on its going on the 3rd week. They are not playing in a bubble and over 60 players opted out this year. For the love of the game or for love of your health? I watched highlights and how nice it was to be distracted by a bunch of athletic dudes playing to win. Big-name generation x'ers Tom Brady and Philip Rivers were sporting their new teams.

Monday Night Football in September

What I'm really looking forward to is an ordinary Monday Night football in Septemeber. The NFL is providing much needed entertainment and a sense of normalcy in COVID-times.

Allegiant Stadiam, Las Vegas Debut

Tonight the Saints play the Raiders. This will be in the new Las Vegas dome. The Allegiant Stadiam is the 1.8 billion dollar stadium and as much as I love 'Derek Carr,' injured or not-- I 'm looking forward to getting photgraphs of an empty-billion dollar arena. It won't be empty for too long. Tonight is the debut game and again it will be crowdless. The dome is 10-level, is black and lights up like a christmas tree at night. It has a re-tractable roof and windows to protect against extremely high temperatures and keeps it nice and cool inside, with fresh cut grass. Not like we'll see it anytime soon, inside there is a torch to honor their beloved long time owner of the Raiders:' Al Davis.' This game will be best served with an ice cold lime flavored seltzer water. Ejoy !

15 NFL Players You Didn't Realize Are Retired: 2016

With so much talk about NFL rookie quarterbacks we seem to forget the ones that retired. I get it we watch the game and choose to forget they are not running or throwing the ball. Big names like: 1.Payton Manning, 2.Marshall Lynch, 3.Calvin Johnson, 4.Greg Jennings, 5.Percy Harvin, 6.Heath Miller, 7. Logan Mankins, 8.Manny Ramirez, 9.Phil Loadholt 10.Jared Allen 11. B.j. Raji 12.Darnell Dockett 13.Justin Tuck 14.Jon Beason and 15.Charles Woodson.  1. Payton Manning: QB The recently retired Manning is hard to forget. He is a quarterback legend among the other gods. He's like a fine wine and just keeps getting better with age, though he's not playing anymore. Mr. Manning is heavily commercialized for his triumphs. And I'm sure the Broncos will miss him tell the next century. 2. Marshall Lynch: RB This former running back is known as 'Beast Mode.' Lynch is hard to get over, he's taken down the Broncos in a Superbowl. The 5'11, 215 lb, Oakland CA, ...

US Open 2016: Review

Stan The Man The over the top US Open blew me over. As in blew me over I mean the sold out ]dome in Brooklyn New York (Chase Center). The match between Wawrinka and Djokovic was great. The first two sets won by Wawrinka, whom I'm a big fan of now. The guy's outfit was perfect, it was hot pink or a magenta shade. The hot color won him the game. And the stakes were high, loser gets $1.8 million, while winner prize is $3 million. That is the highest prize money in the history of any tennis tournament. So go you  Switzerland native "Stan Wawrinka," also refereed to by some as "Stan the man."
