1. Payton Manning: QB
The recently retired Manning is hard to forget. He is a quarterback legend among the other gods. He's like a fine wine and just keeps getting better with age, though he's not playing anymore. Mr. Manning is heavily commercialized for his triumphs. And I'm sure the Broncos will miss him tell the next century.2. Marshall Lynch: RB
This former running back is known as 'Beast Mode.' Lynch is hard to get over, he's taken down the Broncos in a Superbowl. The 5'11, 215 lb, Oakland CA, native is retired and we thought he's still playing. He played for University of California Berkeley and the Seattle Seahawks, and nicknamed: 'Money.' You see people can't stop naming Marshall Lynch--he's unforgettable, which is why you forgot he's retired.3. Calvin Johnson: WR
Johnson is a diamond in the rough, best known playing for the Detroit Lions. His 133 or 132 million dollar contract speaks for itself. This is the Lions baby. At the whopping 6'5, 215 lbs, Georgian native born even beat 'Jerry Rice's record, which is now: 1,964 yards, averaging 123 yards per game. Johnson is a legend in Detroit and we forgot he's retired. The guy's from Virginia, but played college with the Florida Gators. His mother ran a daycare from her home too, Harvin had 351 receptions in his career need we say more. He's a Minnesota Viking's God. One of my personal favorites to date. In my mind he's definitely not retired. But he is and he's missed.
6. Heath Miller: TE (tight-end)
Another Virginia-American born football legend. He towered the field at 6'5, 215 lbs. Miller is an infamous Pittsburgh Steeler with record stats: 6,569 yards, 591 receptions, and 45 touchdowns. It's hard for black & yellow admit he's retired. After all he has two Superbowl rings in his 11-year career.
7. Logan Mankins: G (guard)
This former legend is a Californian native that played: guard/tackle, for Fresno State, and the New England Patriots. He is pure strength and hard to forget he's a former player. He protected his teammates and that made him the 'highest paid' guard in the league, $10 million dollars in 2012. He finished his career with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in March 7, 2016.
8. Manny Ramirez: G
Here we have a big boy guard. He played in the NFL for nine years. Born and raised Texan is a whopping: 320 lbs, clocking in at 6'5. He ended his career with a $80,000 bonus with the Chicago Bears, which he retired on June 8, 2016.
9. Phil Loadhort: OT
This ex-offensive tackle was a key player for the Vikings, and we forget he's newly retired. He's a Hawaiian native and is: 6'9, 346 lbs. He started on the Vikings as a rookie, which should say a lot. Unfortunately, Loadhort retired after his Achilles tendon injury and announced his retirement on July 26, 2016.

Allen is another Texas native that played college football for Idaho State. He played defensive end for: the Chiefs, Vikings, Bears, and ended with the Panthers. Most of his career was with the Chiefs and Vikings. He towered the field at: 6'6, 255 lbs. On April 16, 2016 he signed a 'one-day contract' and retired as a Viking.
11. B.j. Raji: DT
This was the biggest boy on the field, and how can you forget the biggest & best nose tackle? He's an East Coast guy, born in New York, but playing for Boston College. Raji started the NFL with the Green Bay Packers and ended with them. He is solid Green Bay blood. His career as a tackle lasted from 2009-2015, and he announced his retirement on March 14, 2016.
